Each one is unique and integrates a different theme, and though each individual piece stands on its own merit, I truly feel that the sum is greater than the parts ;) These comics feature weird and magical ideas, so please be careful while reading ;)
And did I forget to mention that some of them are folded in strange and incredible ways?

The next installment of my continuing magazine!
JETTY is back, and it’s stranger than ever! This issue includes two cohesive stories designed to make you squirm and question your very existence (in a good way)! PLUS an elaborate afterword! Completed just before debuting at the 2012 Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, this comic (hopefully) shows my progress as both a competent storyteller and a proficient mark maker.
As stated below, my eventual goal is to include other creators in my JETTY series, but for now everything in JETTY #2 is written and drawn by yours truly. I sincerely hope you enjoy this issue ;)

The first issue of my new continuing magazine!
About the project: I’m intending JETTY to be somewhat of an arts and literary magazine with a major focus on sequential art and abstract comics. Right now it’s just me, but I hope to include other contributers for art, articles, interviews, and much more! JETTY #1 contains five sequential art (comics) pieces done in my own personal style, only AMPED UP (I am very excited about this)! Here’s some preview shots (click them to enlarge):

Good to see you & the crew at Feiffer! The portraits are powerful, very punk grunge New York Review of Books, the errant long line, a kind of red blood (the artist’s? Voice of pen?)–and/or static of our on-off media minds draining, straining to hold. I also like the movement–and colors moving–in the Thanksgiving piece, like shape in flame, a sort of wave series of figures arising from some kind of psychic Guernica. And Rio: Light Riot goes for the big questions pondered directly, internal-external outreach to “The Conditioning Truths That Shape Our Temperaments…Truths That Place Us Here…Or Are There Greater Fears To Be Absorbed…And How Can I Recognize…In A World Such As This?”: your philosophical ontological questions in your “Masks” comic build a beat from soft pulse to throb to universal insight; “Your Flesh And Blood Will Be Your Meter. . .” And here you have it: from sperm & egg to knight & Chief to skull & gas mask to veil & moon, asking, “And What Are These Points Of Light…?” Brilliant wide open eyes, this Light Riot. Keep on, illumination. You’re in it.
